The Huron Center for Conscious Futures is organized into Labs—dedicated spaces for research, experimentation, and practice. Each Lab explores a distinct domain of inquiry, while cross-pollination among them generates new insights, prototypes, and cultural interventions. Together, the Labs form an ecosystem of inquiry into mind, technology, sustainability, health, philosophy, satire, and strategy.

Psychedelic Research Lab

Advancing rigorous, interdisciplinary study of psychedelic therapies, focusing on trial design, expectancy effects, biomarkers, and cultural contexts of healing and transformation.

AI & Conscious Systems Lab

Exploring artificial intelligence as both a technical system and a mirror of human consciousness, with projects on human-AI collaboration, decision-making, and the co-evolution of intelligence.

EcoTech Materials Lab

Designing and testing sustainable, high-performance materials—such as EcoTriFiber—that align ecological integrity with innovation in outdoor equipment and beyond.

Philosophy & Praxis Lab

Translating philosophical and symbolic systems—ranging from Stoicism to Human Design and Gene Keys—into practical tools for meaning, integrity, and applied self-understanding.

Absurdion Ventures

Experimenting with satire and speculative design as methods of cultural critique. By creating semi-realistic brands and narratives, the Lab destabilizes late-stage capitalism while exploring alternative futures.

Strategic Futures Lab

Applying systems analysis, scenario planning, and policy tools to global challenges. Projects include indices, readiness assessments, and strategic frameworks for organizations navigating uncertainty.
